Meet the Owner: Cameron Beu

Hi, I’m Cam, owner of NumberWorks’nWords Chermside.

I’m passionate about helping children build confidence and achieve great results through personalised Maths and English tutoring. Over the years, I’ve seen first-hand how the right support can transform not only academic progress but also a student’s motivation and mindset toward learning.

With a background in Civil Engineering and 12 years of service as an engineer in the Royal Australian Air Force, I’ve always valued precision, problem-solving and growth, qualities that naturally carry through to education.

Meet the Manager: Sheldon

Hi, my name is Sheldon and I’m the Manager at NumberWorks’nWords Chermside.

I hold a Master of Business Administration from Griffith University and bring over a decade of experience in education, coaching, and leadership. During my time at Apple Inc., I specialised in delivering small-group learning programs and tailoring them to meet the curriculum and development needs of schools, businesses, and communities. That experience taught me how to make learning engaging, practical, and confidence-building for students of all backgrounds.

What excites me most about NumberWorks’nWords is being able to bring that same passion for personalised education to young people in our community. I believe every child deserves to feel capable and confident in their Maths and English, and I’m committed to helping them reach their full potential in a fun and supportive environment.

I look forward to welcoming you and your child to the centre, and working with you to build skills, boost confidence and celebrate success.
